Power Cuts, Parasites & Divine Alignment: A Day of Frustration, Flow, and Forward Movement – Friday, 2nd August — Evening

The morning slipped away more quickly than expected. I woke late, just getting into my stride when the electricity cut out at 8:30 a.m. I assumed it was temporary — ten minutes, maybe. But an hour passed, and nothing. I messaged the landlord, only to hear a string of excuses about why he hadn’t told me in advance, even though he’d known for three days.

I was pissed. Not just at the lack of power, but the deeper frustration of relying on someone unreliable. I told him straight — I don’t trust you. I need direct updates, not vague, last-minute stories.

The heat, the gym ahead, the list of things I’d intended to complete — all of it became a constant reminder of that one dropped message. I didn’t want to feel the anger, but I had to. I breathed through it and eventually went to the gym, came back, showered, and headed to Animals Café with my smoothie ingredients for them to blend.

There, I finished the Day 3 Niacin slides and began looking for suppliers for oils and other store products.

At 3 PM, I met with Lakshika, the woman I’d randomly encountered Sunday night. The meeting was at a yoga studio — just around the corner from the second Airbnb I’d stayed in.

Strangely, that same Airbnb had messaged me the day before. Their dog Rocky, whom I adored, had died from a cobra bite. That shook me. He was regal, like a prince. And somehow, it felt aligned that this meeting was happening right nearby.

Lakshika and I had a powerful conversation — about my back pain, the New Earth, the parasite cleanse. When I mentioned needing local suppliers, she lit up. Turns out, she already has the infrastructure and is waiting for the right project. She’s deeply connected to local farms and wellness communities and seemed genuinely excited to co-create. I told her to explore the course so she understands the frequency and vision.

Then I met the co-founder of the space — a powerful elder presence who works with spinal alignment and sacred organ points. I felt like I’d found exactly what I needed: kriya breathing, somatic healing, and spinal recalibration — all under one roof.

Later, my brother called. My new UK bank card was mistakenly set to go to an old address. He’ll help redirect it.

Then came a call with Pen — which was almost missed. I forgot to send the updated Zoom link and was still talking to my brother when she joined an old room. For a moment, we both felt disconnected. Like we’d lost each other.

But that rupture gave way to reconnection. We dropped deeper into appreciation, relieved to be back in sync.

We then worked through one of the more emotionally charged chapters of the book. And now, at last, we’ve reached ayahuasca.

I’m ending the day with a quiet sense of completion — sending off the parasite product list to Lakshika, seeing what can be produced and packaged here in Sri Lanka. If it works, it means full control. Supporting local farmers, the land, the mission. That would be beautiful.
