Letting Go of Survival: Trusting Certainty on the New Earth Path (Tarot pull based on yesterday’s journal and today’s morning reflection – 23rd Aug)

The City and the Noise
Last night the city was alive with music, pulling me awake at midnight. My neck twinged from sleeping awkwardly. I was so tired I couldn’t even meditate properly — I simply lay down, letting the body rest.

I woke around 6 a.m. and moved through my routine in the small hotel room. A thought lingered: I had paid too much yesterday. But then I reminded myself: I chose it. No victimhood.

Illusions of the Magic Pill
At breakfast I reflected on the shops and markets around me. Detox tablets labeled “dedox” with a “D,” children selling teeth whitening powders with excuses for why they didn’t use them themselves. It’s the same pattern: survival first, convincing others to believe.

It reminded me of Yeshua. He didn’t sell certainty — he embodied it. He wasn’t in survival, he knew. He carried presence without trying to convince anyone of anything.

There is no magic pill. Transformation is conscious effort, daily practice.

The Fear Around Money
A tinge of fear surfaced around money. Transfers made, accounts still unsettled, uncertainty about timing. Yet I also saw: money has always come and gone. One moment it’s there, the next it isn’t. Was I happy when I had it? Not always. So what is it I truly seek?

Not money. Sovereignty. Peace. The freedom to live guided by something higher than myself.

Gratitude and the Flow of the Day
I counted blessings on my fingers. Gratitude shifted the frequency. Breakfast, then the temple, then the gym. Later, I’ll pick up food for the train back, ready to return and prepare for the next chapter.

This is the transition — letting go of an old life, with all its illusions of certainty. Trusting that the New Earth is built not on survival, but on sovereignty.

—Tarot pull—

  1. What does it mean to climb the rocks of life with integrity, even when the path feels steep?
How do I hold boundaries without guilt, while remaining open to connection?
The Empress reminds you that integrity is not about hard edges but about nurturing growth — in yourself and in others. Boundaries held with compassion become fertile soil, not walls. You can remain open by embodying abundance rather than scarcity, trusting that true connections flourish when they are rooted in authenticity.

  1. Where am I being shown that fleeting encounters are teachers on the journey?
What do strangers and their reflections reveal about my own growth?
The Chariot speaks to direction and willpower. These fleeting encounters are guideposts, mirrors on your path that help you steer. Each stranger’s reflection tests whether you are in control of your journey or being pulled by external reins. Growth comes when you harness both the light and shadow of these moments, steering forward with awareness.

  1. How do the plants, herbs, and simple gifts of the Earth mirror the medicine I most need?
What everyday lessons am I overlooking that could nourish my path?
Seven of Swords suggests the medicine lies in what seems ordinary but carries hidden truth. The Earth shows you that not all nourishment is grand or obvious — some lessons are subtle, easily overlooked. The shadow is in dismissing these gifts; the teaching is to slow down and recognize that the smallest plant, the quietest detail, might hold exactly what your spirit needs.

  1. What is money really teaching me about survival and sovereignty?
How do I shift from fear of not enough into peace, trust, and alignment?
Ten of Cups reframes money as not about survival, but about harmony and wholeness. True wealth is found in relationships, fulfillment, and alignment with values — not in numbers. When you root yourself in the abundance of connection and community, the fear of not enough dissolves. Sovereignty comes from living in resonance, not in survival.

  1. How can I trust joy without fearing it will be taken away?
What practices strengthen the muscle of staying in joy even when the Old Earth pulls?
Eight of Cups points to the courage of walking away from illusions. Joy deepens when you release what no longer serves, even if it once gave comfort. The practice is letting go daily — choosing presence over clinging, truth over old attachments. Each step away from fear is a step into lasting joy.

  1. Where am I invited to let go of illusions — whether quick fixes, magic pills, or old comforts?
How do I return to daily conscious practice as the true source of transformation?
The Magician reveals that the true “magic pill” is already within you. Tools, rituals, breath, practice — these are the daily alchemy. Illusions lose power when you recognize your ability to shape reality consciously. Transformation is not bought, but cultivated, one intentional act at a time.

  1. What does it mean to walk the New Earth path with authenticity, even when I feel vulnerable?
How can I honor both the suffering and the joy as necessary companions on the way?
Knight of Wands urges you to walk with boldness, even when vulnerable. Authenticity is a fire — not polished, but alive, moving, risking. To honor both suffering and joy is to ride forward with passion, knowing that both are part of the same flame. Vulnerability becomes strength when it fuels the courage to act from truth.
