––– Cinematic Orientation & VHM Embodiment –––
Today was largely spent working on the orientation call, shaping it into something more cinematic, experimenting with unfamiliar tech. It was another layer of learning, another level of integration.
I went to the gym and did one of Shaun T’s weighted Insanity workouts — challenging, but that satisfying release once it was over. There’s something to be said about pushing through with no resistance.
Throughout the day, I was speaking often to myself about VHM — Venus, Hephaestus, Mars — especially when Mars energy would rise in me. Instead of suppression, I chose transmutation.
––– The Town Run, the Kid, and the Helmet Hunt –––
Later I went into town to see the doctor. My back’s mostly okay — one part of the spine slightly bent, but manageable with a few simple exercises. He wanted to show me the new villa he’s building. I said, “Show me when it’s built.”
His young son looked up and said:
“Five days. Five days you’re back.”
Sweet, innocent presence. That alone made the trip worth it.
After that I went from helmet shop to helmet shop, but none could help me. Mildly disheartened, I stopped at the organic store — and oddly, they might have the exact visor I need. Unexpected grace.
Back home, had a late lunch, and then sorted the front room door seal, which had been letting insects through. The team came to fix it, but even now there’s still a gap. Metaphor?
––– The Book, the Editing, the Waters –––
Later, Pen and I edited more of the book together.
I’m now 100 pages away from finishing the first draft.
She reminded me that more than the editing, it’s the talking that matters. That way she truly gets a feel for how I speak, what I would say.
We’re in this together.
This isn’t ghostwriting. It’s soul-scribing.
Today we hit choppy waters — chapters involving people, trauma, and Old Earth wounds. Particularly around pedophilia, which required deeper responsibility and ownership (for those involved). We softened the specifics so that it speaks to all — and that required more courage from me than I anticipated.
––– Body, Film & Forgetting –––
I wanted to unwind and maybe watch Phenomenon with John Travolta — a nod to the 90s — but the day slipped away.
I forgot to write my journal last night.
I think my body is aching — not just from the gym, but from the work of transmutation.
As I write this now — Thursday morning — I’ve just been told there’s a power cut coming in 45 minutes, so I’m preparing what I can.
Over and out.
